Bartletts Charity Work

[responsive][/responsive]Here at Bartletts we take our role and responsibility in the community very seriously. After all, our business is made up of families too and we have a vested interest in looking after our local services and organisations.

Bartletts is very pleased to have provided a mini bus for Newchurch Primary School, enabling its pupils to enjoy valuable school trips.

We have been sponsoring Brading Town Youth since 2010(under 9’s)

Now 6 years on we have seen great success with this team: Runners up in the league 2yrs, Cup winners 3 year, Sci cup winners 2015, Hampshire cup quarter finals 1 yr., now they are u14s have won the double (league and cup) in 2015/16 season. We supply them with their new kit each season. We can’t take the credit for how well they’ve been playing though…that’s all down to them!

Garage staff take part in regular charity fundraising events such as sponsored walks and runs. Cheques have been presented to both local and national charities including Race for Life, Young Epilepsy and the chemotherapy, children’s, heart and stroke units at St Mary’s Hospital in Newport. The sponsorship money we raise for these causes is of course down to the generosity of you, our customers, so thank you.

[responsive][/responsive]Aidan Radford, named Young Inspirational Person of the Year by the national charity Young Epilepsy as well as by the Isle of Wight Radio local hero awards.

Harrison Hendy now 6 yrs. old, has completed the 2016 randonee (the youngest person to ever do so) and also had rode the Islands “End to End” in May 2016.

In the past we have have sponsored either local heroes (Emergency Service Person) or Child of Wight (Young Sports Person) through the Isle of Wight Radio which is held at Cowes Yacht Haven.
